Customer Requirement

Our customer needed a way to safely ship 12 fragile mirrors. They came to us with a cardboard box filled with packaging peanuts and packing noodles. Not the ideal packaging solution for fragile apparatuses. Polystyrene foam peanuts were introduced in 1965 by Dow Chemical.

Solution

A custom shipping case. We substituted the cardboard box with a SKB 3I Series Injection molded case. Instead of Polystyrene foam peanuts that were introduced in 1965 by Dow Chemical, we used Ethafoam 180. Our customer now has nothing to worry about when shipping these mirrors using this custom shipping case. We properly recycled the cardboard box and threw away the peanuts.
